Minor in Philosophy

A student majoring in another academic discipline can earn an academic minor in Philosophy by completing 15 hours of coursework in philosophy (PHH, PHI, PHM, and PHP prefixes) with a grade of “C” or better. No more than three hours of lower-division coursework (1000- and 2000-level) can be applied to minor requirements. No more than 6 credits of transfer coursework can be applied to minor requirements. Students seeking to minor in philosophy should fill out the Change of Program Plan Form with their name, signature and Panther ID (top line of the form) and bring it to the Director of Undergraduate Studies.
